Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return for items that are damaged, defective or wrongfully delivered. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Customized and expedited items cannot be returned as they were made in agreement and solely for the customer.

An item cannot be returned solely because the customer has had a change of heart. 

Packages may not be returned due to shipping delays that are beyond zulubeads control.

All refunds will exclude shipping if the item has arrived at the customer and the item is not a wrong order. Items are shipped from South Africa hence store cannot carry shipping cost. 
Zulubeads will suggest a close destination for the item to be returned to and pay for that delivery. The cost of the item excluding vat will be refunded upon inspection and confirmation of damage or defect or wrongful order. 

To start a return, you can contact us at zulubeadza@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label/pay for pickup, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return confirmation will not be accepted.

Damages and issues 
Please inspect your order upon reception, where possible take a photo of the received item before opening and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Do not open packaging brashly as beaded items and accessories are generally fragile. 

Exceptions / non-returnable items 
Certain types of items cannot be returned. E.g  due to change of heart, items worn, malicious damage by customer, customized items which involved the client providing their size), custom products (such as special orders, expedited orders or personalized items). 
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges 
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. Where exchanges are possible and the client prefers that, Zulubeads would do its best to accommodate the client. Of item is damaged, Zulubeads will repair and return at its cost. 

Refunds 
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
